“Another great Seshie! ”

“Guru loves Chef Liz! ”

“The team LOVED this event! I''m very excited to schedule another in the future. Feedback from the survey: loved learning about zero waste cooking and having a hands on event that provided them with a tasty meal great instructor fun! people would've liked to know that the prep work was actually necessary and not optional...a couple teammates felt like they were playing catch up wished they had the opportunity to be more interactive as a group ”
My Background
My name is Liz and I am a vegan chef located in San Diego, CA. I have always had a passion for cooking and a dream of becoming a chef. In 2010 I was diagnosed with multiple food allergies and autoimmune disorders and that began my journey to discovering a better relationship between my body and what I consume. I attended Northern Arizona University and studied Hospitality Management before entering a career in hotels. After moving to California my interest in sustainability grew and I began to build relationships with local farmers and received certification in Plant Based Health & Nutrition from eCornell.
I founded Santosha Nutrition in 2018 with a simple thought: eating more plants can change the world. I applied my background in corporate hospitality with my passions for food and sustainability to offer unique experiences focused on cooking, farming and education.
In 2020 I released my first cookbook, Kitchen Contentment, containing over 50 plant-based, sustainable recipes. It is my mission to share the beauty of plants and the bounty of this planet with others.
